Best Dressed Celebs at the 52nd Grammy Awards

Celebrity February 2, 2010 @ 9:32 am

When deciding who to include in our best dressed celebs of the week, we have to be honest – we struggled to fill all five spots.  We of course wanted to do a round up of who wore what at Sunday’s 52nd Grammy Awards but it was hard to find five celebrities who deserved the title of best dressed.  It’s not that we didn’t enjoy their outfit choices. It’s just that we weren’t over the moon for any of them.  Find out who we did pick, what they wore and why we finally settled on their choice….

Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2010′s Latin Sensation for Less

Weekly Hot Pick February 1, 2010 @ 1:50 pm

Ever since we saw images of Dolce and Gabbana’s Spring 2010 collection back in September, we couldn’t wait to replicate Madonna’s Like A Virgin phase.  From form fitting satin skirts with mismatching bra tops and lace overlays to chunky cross chokers and silky smooth bloomers, we’ve had a fascination with the Material Girl’s wardrobe circa 1985 ever since (it seems the designer duo did too – Madonna is the star of their Spring 2010 ad campaign).  In the immortal words of Madge, “satin sheets are very romantic”…but we think satin bloomers are even more so…

Coco Rocha Debuts her “Rococo” Clothing Line at the Grammys

Celebrity February 1, 2010 @ 1:20 pm

Earlier this month Coco Rocha took to her blog to give us a sneak peek at the dress she designed to wear while covering the Grammy red carpet for Entertainment Tonight Canada.  It was a blurry pic that really only revealed the shiny blue shade and a few safety pins.  Last night she debuted the dress and announced the name of her new line, Rococo (cleverly suggested to Coco by a 21-year-old male student from the Bronx) .  While we love the name, we’re not super in love with the princess look of the dress.  We like the short skirt popping out from underneath and we kind of took a liking to the exterior shoulder pads, but the overall princess look is too high school musical for us (not the Zac Efron/Vanessa Hudgens kind of high school musical but more like what Maid Marian might have worn in a high school production of Robin Hood).  CLICK BELOW TO READ MORE AND SEE THE FULL IMAGE…
