Stevie Nicks may have gone her own way but for Spring/Summer 2010, designers like Chloe, Altuzarra and Stella McCartney were definitely going her way with fashions inspired by the singer’s gypsy ways of the 1970s.  Ethereal, flowing dresses in silk and chiffon, fringe adorned accessories and clunky wooden clogs found a new home on the runways this season and we don’t know if it’s the summer heat or the festival vibe that’s hanging in the air but we can’t wait to channel our very own Stevie Nicks!  Click through to find seventies-inspired hippie fashion fit for Stevie herself.

Celebrities are masters at taking a basic must-have item like a simple Breton striped tee and playing stylist until they achieve their own unique look.  With the help of a few well-placed accessories, Sienna, Kate and Miranda all manage to change up the striped tee to match their own personal style.  Sienna Miller’s London take on the striped tee included bright red buckle booties, a pair of light, cropped jeans and a crimson Prada handbag.  Kate Moss also went for red while in Paris when she choose to top off her striped tee with a red 3/4 sleeve jacket from Chanel’s Resort 2010 collection.  Model Miranda Kerr on the other hand kept it simple at LAX with a basic black blazer overtop of her billowy striped top.  Which look do you like best?  Click through to shop for your very own striped tee regardless of your budget.

We have a new favorite accessory this season.  The skinny belt is on constant rotation in our wardrobe and we’re finding we need one to match almost every outfit.  We wear ours extra long and simply fold or knot under the excess leather (just like Stella McCartney’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection).  Some designers like Wood Wood (see #1) have been savy enough to cut their belts extra long in order to facilitate our need for longer belts.  But for those brands who haven’t caught onto the long belt bandwagon, we’re buying them a few sizes too big, punching a few extra holes in them and voila, we’ve got our very own extra long belt!  Click through to find our favorite skinny belts that already are extra long or that are worthy of a ride on our leather hole puncher.
