Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour and Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker are serving their country thanks to President Obama’s Committee of the Arts and Humanities.   The two were recently added to the committee of 24 other artsy folks who “will advise President Obama on how to expand the role of the arts in society“.   First Lady Michelle Obama heads the committee as honorary chairperson and insists that “The arts are not just a nice thing to have or to do if there is free time or if one can afford it”.
