I have a really hard time finding high heels that fit me properly. I’m usually a size 7 in flats and running shoes. For years I’ve been buying high heels that are my regular size, I’ll wear them once and find that by the end of the night my feet are slipping out of them. Or, I’ll buy a size smaller and die after the first hour wearing them. Now I’ve tried all these insoles but nothing seems to help! I buy all these shoes but always find myself wearing flats. Do you have any suggestions?
We here at Stylehog have encountered this problem time and time again, and we must say slipping and sliding out of our stiletto and curling our toes so hard to hold onto our dear shoes is becoming rather hazardous…The answer to our pain?
Two words: Heel grips!
Everytime we slip into our party shoes, we thank Money’s Worth & Best for their heel grips ($3.99)! These simple little bad boys have been keeping us in our shoes with fantastic added comfort. Simply adhere them to the inside of the heel hem and voilà!
Another suggestion we would make is to invest in heels with a nice sturdy platform in the front to balance out the height of your sky high heels and this will eleviate some stress from the balls of your delicate feet! Our pick would be a pair of classic Steve Madden pumps! To bring in the season’s latest fashion trends to your tootsies we suggest a vibrant suede pump drawing inspiration from the Spring RTW 2011 show by Dries Van Noten.
But with all things said heels hurt! So it’s always wise to keep a pair of soft foldable flats like Dr. Scholl’s FastFlats in your purse for those heel-related emergencies.
