When it comes to jewellery, most women are either die-hard silver fans (or fans of anything in a silverish shade like platinum or white gold) or golden girls. This means that most or all of their jewellery collection consists of only one type of metal. But when it comes to fashion, we wonder if the same devotion to one time of metallic holds true? Do some of you only wear silver or only wear gold? If you fall into the later category than you would have been seriously addicted to the Fall/Winter 2010 collections of Balmain, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Dries Van Noten. Gilded gold mini dresses, blackish gold pantsuits and gold lamé-like blazers ruled the runways this season and just in time for the holidays, they’re infiltrating stores everywhere. Because we bat for both sides of the team (we mean the silver and gold teams of course), we’re more than happy to throw on something shiny and gold at our next holiday party.
