Going shoe shopping yesterday I realized that with the flurry of indecisive weather we’ve been having (do I wear shorts or throw on the winter coat today?) I realized something other than my sunglasses and the requisite umbrella had been forgotten in the confusion: my feet.
Fittingly, my foot folly only caught my attention as I sat in Holt Renfrew’s shoe department to try on a pair of chunky nude Theory sandals I had been coveting for weeks. When I pulled off my socks to expose my bare toes and scruffy heels, it was such as shocker to note that I had neglected this crucial summer prep step. Needless to say, I rushed home for an impromptu DIY pedi.
For this summer, the brighter the nail colour the better. Lately I’ve been rotating between three vibrant toe-toppers: Chanel’s Orange Fizz ($23), a creamy coral; OPI's Miami Beet ($9.99) , a violet red; and Essie’s Funny Face ($8), a standout fuschia.
