After years of low-rider monopoly, the looming fear of accidentally showing your thong is gone. But with this re-emergence of the high-rider comes the threat of looking like you're wearing the dreaded "mom" jeans! Luckily for us, denim manufacturers quashed our fears and produced well-cut, body-friendly styles that won't add years (or pounds) to our appearances. While the high-waisted style is definitely not for everyone (if you've got a bit of a booty, stick to the low to medium rises), we found a few pairs that match Mischa's style and our budget. Pictured below is a low-cost version by Lux available at Urban Outfitters. At $68 a pair, its a small investment to try out this style. If you're looking for a bit more variety at an even lower price, try a pair of Cheap Mondays.
