Being 5’11″ may sound glamorous and strike envy into the heart of many a shorter girl, but even though us Amazons have a great height advantage, there is one major downfall to being a Glamazon – SHOES!

As a teen we would often end up in tears when it came to prom season because finding that perfect shoe to complete our outfit was Mission: Impossible. It was embarrassing asking for a size 11 or “the biggest size you have” as we still put it. Or even worse, trying to convince ourselves that the shoe fits even though it is way to small. We end up limping around all night counting down the seconds until we can finally release our feet from the death trap that have become our Steve Maddens.

To our fellow Amazons, there is good news, DIVNA has come to our rescue. Veronica Ljubicic, owner of Divna has heard our sob stories (and had a few of her own) and opened an online store that caters exclusively to women with shoe sizes 10-13 who are looking for affordable yet fashionable footwear. Divna may not have been there to ease our teenage angst but now shoe hunting is more like Mission: Possible.
