This spring  we’re hanging up our clutch and hobo bag in favor of a darling drawstring pouch inspired by the Spring 2010 runway of Marc by Marc Jacobs.  His rust-colored drawstring pouch covered in grommets of varying sizes caught our eye as it went down the runway and we haven’t been able to get it out of our head ever since.  Marc Jacobs isn’t the only designer who fell in love with the drawstring this season – both Prada and Diane Von Furstenberg have designed their very own versions of the drawstring pouch.  Check out our top 10 picks for super stylish (yet affordable) drawstring handbags for Spring 2010…

Topshop’s laced up purse is our favorite pick for spring. The corset details remind us of shoes and anything that reminds us of shoes is a good thing!

5) Grommeted faux leather – $19.80 Forever 21 
We did a double take when we saw this grommeted red drawstring clutch – we swore it was the same one we saw on Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring 2010 runway.  Even though it’s not real leather, it’s still as adorable as the real thing.

6) Pintuck drawstring bag – $98 Armani Exchange
The pintuck pleating on Armani Exchange’s drawstring bag adds dimension to the design while the metal hardware adds a touch of luxury.

7) Cross body bag with tassels – $55 Topshop
Another leather purse for under $100?  Sweet!  We love Topshop’s coral leather drawstring pouch for two reasons – 1) we can wear it across our body instead of just on one shoulder and 2) the tassels are to die for!

8) Cole Haan pebbled leather drawstring tote – $378 Nordstrom
For those of you sick of your standard black or brown handbag, this pearlized Cole Haan drawstring tote is a great alternative.  We’re especially partial to the exterior zip pockets (easy cell phone access!).

We’re already dreaming up dozens of outfits to match back to this faded faux leather bucket bag from Urban Outfitters.
