Colorful Flats not since the early '90s and the doc martens revolution have our feet seen so much color. flashback to our junior high days (ie: braces, hair sprayed bangs and safety pinned jeans) and we are filled with fond, yet ambivalent memories of our mustard yellow doc martens. those days, our shoes were a virtual rainbow of shades as we feebly used them as a means of self-expression to stand apart from the other eighth graders, just as awkward and angst-filled as ourselves. let's hope this season's colorful flats find us with a bit more confidence and a lot more style than our days in junior high.
