Bootylicious For those of you who regularly visit Stylehog.com, you should be quite familiar with our "Buy Now, Wear Now" shopping philosophy. But for any of you who have been shopping in the last few weeks, you're fully aware that fall fashions are already hitting the store floors and it's getting pretty hard to resist picking up an item or two to keep in storage until the fall weather comes our way. We'd like to tell you that we stayed true to our mantra and left the shops empty handed but we have to admit, we just weren't strong enough! Our first fall purchase: a pair of black booties. While the bootie trend may not be the newest trend to grace the runways (it has been seen on the runways and on the feet of celebs since Fall 2006), it definitely monopolized the runways of Fall 2008. From oxfords to ankle booties and even open-toed booties, the booties have proven that this is one shoe trend that has staying power. And the best part is we can actually start wearing them now! Paired with a mini dress or skinny jeans, our booties will bring us from cool summer nights to even cooler fall days. So technically speaking, we're not really guilty of compromising our principles now are we?
