Winter Sales 3 words we can't get enough of: Affordable Designer Fashions It's rare that we hear the words "affordable" and "designer" in the same sentence. So rare in fact that when we do, we can't be held accountable for the exorbitant charges that appear on our VISA statements. When our favorite luxury retailers have their yearly after Christmas sales, we lose all rational thought and in a rush of mad consumerism, momentarily forget we have more important bills to pay (i.e. rent). But can you really blame us? No sane person could resist a pair of Marc Jacobs (yes, thats Marc Jacobs, not Marc by Marc Jacobs) Oxfords on sale for $188. And if you can, we don't want to be your friend. While most drastic markdown events are filled with more than their fair share of leftover crap from 2 seasons ago, this season's after Christmas sales are actually over-flowing with fashions from Fall/Winter 2007. Some of fall's hottest trends (bolder shoulders, cobalt blue, wide-leg jeans) are marked down as much as 60%. What does that mean for Stylehogs? It gives us the perfect opportunity to purchase droolworthy, yet wallet-friendly designer pieces from the fall/winter season while the weather still permits us to show them off.
