Costume Couture
We're quite aware that diamonds are a girl's best friend, but if we had to choose between making rent or loading up on bling, we cleary prefer a roof over our heads. That's why in order to honor our New Year's resolution to save even more money this year, we're leaving the real gems to the celebs and instead, we're stocking up on loads of costume jewelry. And what better time to start our resolution than on one of the most glamorous nights of the year: New Year's Eve!

While we'd love to get our hands on some Harry Winston, Cartier or any other jewels straight off the runway, we're quite happy substituting the real stuff for some equally flashy bracelets, chandelier earrings, cocktail rings or bauble necklaces. Come December 31st, you can bet we'll be adorned in the best that costume jewelry has to offer, all the while keeping a mental checklist of how much money we're saving. Cha-ching!
