Shine, Shine
With only 15 days left in 2008, we're racking our brains to come up with a few New Years resolutions that we know we can keep for a full 12 months. On top of this task, we're still trying to honor our resolutions that we set last December 31st and unfortunately, we haven't been too successful! While we managed to switch from coffee to green tea and we made sure to donate a portion of our yearly shoe budget to charity (two of last year's resolutions), we have yet to honor the biggest resolution of all: wear less black!

Just in time for the big day (i.e. New Year's Eve), we leaving our little black dresses in their garment bags and showing up to our New Year's bash dressed in colorful sequins. As seen on the Winter 2008 and Spring 2009 runways of Collette Dinnigan, Badgley Mischa and Matthew Williamson (the next designer tapped for an H&M diffusion line), sequins in all different shades (even black) are the perfect way to stay away from the little black dress this New Year's Eve. Add a bottle of bubbly and you're reading to ring in the New Year right. We can only hope honoring our resolutions in 2009 will be just as easy!
