If it's good enough for Carrie Bradshaw, it's good enough for us
If you're anything like us, you're counting down the days until the Sex and the City movie reaches theatres (May 30th can't come any sooner). Thanks to the endless fashion and cinema bloggers on the Net, our appetites have been slightly appeased by the numerous photos from the set that have "secretly" leaked online. We're already drooling over the outfits and fantasizing for the spring weather to arrive so we can replicate Carrie's lastest ensemble. The first thing on our list: Carrie's Ombre Prada Clutch.

Ombre, meaning "shaded" in French, is a technique of dip-dying the fabric to create a graduated colour effect from light to dark.
First seen on the runways of Fall 2007, ombre made a 2nd appearance on the runways of Spring 2008 and has now landed in the arms of our favorite fashion heroine, Miss Carrie Bradshaw. While the Prada clutch may be a little out of our price range (about $2270 out of our price range), some of our favorite, more affordable retailers are lavishing us with ombre this spring. While we still have to wait 3 months to see the movie, thanks to our selections above we can start dressing the part today.
