Happy Valentine's Day!
Wear your heart on your sleeve (and feet, ears and eyes) this V-Day
We've always felt Valentine's Day lost some of its magic around the same time we stopped making oversized paper envelopes to collect cards from our elementary school classmates. Once we reached a certain age and it was no longer obligatory to give a Valentine's Day card to everyone in the class (even the kid who ate glue), the holiday went from the one day a year when we greedily stuffed ourselves with frosted cupcakes to a day filled with unrequited love, an empty box of Kleenex and a bag or two of Hershey kisses, courtesy of our Moms. This Valentine's Day, we're leaving the romance to Hallmark and celebrating the holiday the only way we know how: in our closets. Who needs romance when we've got heart-shaped sunglasses?
