It's in the bag!
When heading to the beach, we're always faced with two very troubling dilemnas: one-piece or bikini; big bag or small bag? Despite the popularity of the one-piece in the last few seasons, we always opt for a bikini in order to maximize the amount of tannable skin (yes Mom, we liberally apply SPF 30) but when it comes to what size bag to bring, a little more thought is required.

Naturally we are obsessed with our day clutches and wish we could bring one everywhere we go, but we realize the content limitations that present themselves when our bag is the size of a pocket dictionary. We can barely fit our cell phone and wallet in our clutch simultaneously, let alone a towel, trashy novel, sunglass case, sunscreen, beach ball, kitchen sink....When it comes to an appropriate beach bag we've realized the bigger, the better. Apparently we aren't the only ones to have made this ingenius discovery. From Michael Kors and Tory Burch to a whole slew of beach-loving celebs, it's clear the tote bag is the bag of choice for hitting the beach.

In order to leave us with enough spare cash to afford all the hot weather gear we plan to stuff inside, we've picked our favorite affordable beach bags from as low as $9.90! With prices that low, we don't see the harm in buying two and designating one for our laptop. We're sure we'll get a lot of work done somewhere in between games of beach volleyball and our 3rd margarita.
