Sex and the City: Belt it
We never thought going to see the new Sex and the City movie would be an educational experience. Not only did the movie disprove the much touted theory that a girl is more likely to be hit by lightening than get married past 40, but we also learned the one accessory that a girl should never leave home without: the belt.

While the belt has been a major accessory of the past few seasons, never before has its exact positioning been so clear. Seen on every character, in every scene and on every outfit, Patricia Field stole a page from the runways of Spring 2008 and dictacted the waist as the new place of residence for the belt. The only one accessory we saw more than the waist belt was Carrie's Dior gladiator sandals. Did anyone else notice that she never took them off, not even to get hitched? Now that's what we call a must-have accessory.
