Ever since Phillip Lim debuted his first collection in the fall of 2005 we've been a loyal fan. Just like Marc Jacobs, he could do no wrong on the runway. Or so we thought.

Our faith in Phillip Lim was momentarily shaken when he opened his Spring 2008 show with what appeared to be a castoff from MC Hammer's closet: The Harem Pant. While we must admit they did look good on Irina Lazareanu (above), we wondered how this style would translate in the real world. We didn't have to wait long to find out.

As of late, the blog world has been exploding with discussions over the return of the Harem Pant and the verdict is in: It's Hammer Time! Even though we're less than thrilled at the thought of an MC Hammer comeback tour, we turn to you with our first edition of:: Would you wear it?
