Even though Nordstrom has been shipping to Canada for as long as we can remember, it was always a fairly difficult process.  You couldn’t just order online like a regular shopper.  You had to call their 1-800 number, guesstimate the duties, pay $35 for delivery and wait until your credit card bill came in to see what exchange rate you were being charged.  Not anymore!  Thanks to Nordstrom’s new international shipping policies, shipping to Canada has never been easier.  Now as soon as you arrive at Nordstrom.com you have the option of selecting your currency and for the duration of your shopping trip you can view all prices in that currency.  No more guessing on exchange rates!  As well, once you add an item to your shopping cart and decide to checkout, you can enter your shipping address and Nordstrom automatically calculates both your shipping cost (which was only $25 for our Marc Jacobs wallet) AND your duties and taxes before you even have to enter a credit card number.   Finally, a department store that understands its international customers! Oh and their half-yearly sale is going on right now, so get thee to Nordstrom.com ASAP!
