When looking online for fabulous wallet-friendly fashions to be featured on Stylehog.com, one of the first sites we check out is the UK online boutique of ASOS. If you haven’t checked it out, you should. They are a great place to find clothes that are trend savvy and at the same time, very budget friendly.

To add to their trend and budget friendly repertoire they have recently launched ASOS Red which features premium brands at bargain-basement prices. ASOS Red features designer labels that are up to 70% off, including Just Cavalli, Cheap Monday and Earnest Sewn. We have a feeling ASOS is about to become our one-stop shop for inexpensive trendy fashion as well as discounted designer labels.  Our closet just might explode!

We have never been good at telling the Olsen twins apart, so you will have to forgive us in this post. We couldn’t even rely upon any other online Olsen Twin fans to help us distinguish which one is Mary-Kate and which is Ashley. They made it even more difficult for us at their Influence book signing at the Borders in Westwood, Calif. earlier this week, by both wearing similar styles of hair and makeup. That being said we loved the look of the one Olsen, the Olsen in the shirt dress.

A shirt dress is a classic style that can transition easily from a day at the office to post-work cocktails. Most likely the Olsen is wearing a dress from one of their own lines but we found a similar style shirt dress from Preen for $725 that we are sure both the Olsen’s would approve of. French Connection also has a similar style dress to that of Ms. Olsen on sale for $79.99. Both these dresses come with their own belts but we’d take a cue from the Olsens and pair the dress with a brightly colored one. Not only will it accentuate your waist but it’s a great way personalize an outfit with your own flare. Be your own Olsen and stand out from the crowd, or at least from your twin!

While scrolling through Piperlime’s fine selection of winter boots, we came across a shocking discovery: Crocs makes boots! But that’s not the most shocking part. No, what shocked us the most is that they’re actually pretty nice! How, we wondered, could a company that makes rubber gardening shoes too horrible to wear even to take out the trash, actually make a nice pair of leather boots that we would be proud to wear??

The YOU by Crocs Complicated Contessa Boots are available at Piperlime for $280 (all leather) and it seems we’re not the only fashionistas giving them a second glance. There Rachel Zoe’s pick as well!
