The 1960’s costumes of AMC’s award-winning series Mad Men have inspired many a fashion designer, Michael Kors and Thom Browne to name a few. There are rumors circulating that Mad Men costume designer Janie Bryant will add her name to the list of designers drawing inspiration straight from the set. In an interview with Glamour, the designer reveals that she may have something in the works right now, but can’t confirm it. “I’m working on some things right now,” she says. “I hate to be so mysterious but I can’t really say! It would have my name attached to it though.” We can envision it now, sashaying around the office in a pencil skirt a la Joan Halloway or sitting around the kitchen table in a full skirt complete with perfectly coiffed hair like Betty Draper. Life would be so swell!
