Over the last few months, there’s been a steady buzz in the entertainment industry that Clueless is heading back to the big screen for a sequel.  Hollyscoops is adding fuel to that fire by claiming Alicia Silverstone has agreed to reprise her role as teen queen Cher Horowitz for a sequel entitled Clueless: High School Reunion.  According to their sources “Silverstone and her good friend, Clueless writer and director Amy Heckerling, were recently spotted shopping along Ventura Blvd. in Tarzana, CA. An eyewitness tells the mag, ‘They were talking about the script they’re working on and how exciting this is for them.’ ”

Since that doesn’t sound like such a convincing piece of information, they also claim that “Alicia did an interview last fall with U.K. talk show host Graham Norton, and stated that she was in talks to reprise her role as Cher in the sequel”. 

Having watched enough episodes of Entourage in our time, we’ve learned not to get our hopes up about a movie being produced until it’s actually in production (and even then it’s iffy).  However since we’re dying to see Cher and her Alaia’s back on the big screen, we’re putting all our faith into this rumour.
