
Sarah Jessica Parker is trying her hand at design a second time around – but this time it isn’t designing $4.99 sweaters. Halston has brought on SJP as creative director of their recently launched secondary line that features updated archival Halston pieces but at contemporary price points, Halston Heritage. It seems Halston is looking for a way to revive their restruggling brand and between their new designer Marios Schwab and SJP, maybe owner Harvey Weinstein can breathe a little easier. However with the heavy (mostly negative) buzz that’s been happening on the blogsphere about Sarah Jessica Parker’s new role, Mr. Weinstein just may have another Ungaro/Lohan situation on his hands.
