Whenever we think of plaid, we always think of back-to-school shopping. Whether we were heading into junior high in our mini Gap kilt that we begged our mother for after seeing Claudia Schiffer sporting a similar version in Seventeen magazine or heading into high school with a baggy, plaid button-down that we felt totally showed off our devotion to Kurt Cobain and the grunge movement, plaid always seemed to be a staple in our back-to-school wardrobe. Even though we aren't heading back to the classroom this fall, we are super excited to embrace the "mad for plaid" trend we saw all over the runways of fall 2008. Our favorite plaid look was seen at D&G where almost every model was clad in plaid, right down to the tights.
