Any discerning Toronto fashionista knows that the best shopping on Queen West is always west of Spadina (except of course for a few exceptions that are east) so when Seraphic opened at 555 Queen Street West last December, we knew we had to check it out. Owner Anj has stocked the shop full of unique labels from LA, Montreal and Toronto including denim from Canada’s own Guido & Mary and Makers of True Original, vibrant printed dresses from Creative Collective, basics tanks and tees from C’est Moi and a nicely edited selection of statement jewelry and colorful clutches. Oh and did we mention the price point? Noticing a need for stylish yet affordable fashion on Queen West that didn’t come from a chain store, Seraphic focuses on trendy clothing that even the most budget-conscious fashionista can afford – think jeans starting as low as $60, dresses at $150 and basics at $20. Spring items are starting to trickle into Seraphic so be sure to stay tuned for some new and exciting labels this season such as Lipsy UK (we can’t get over their dresses), Kensie and Kensie Girl. And don’t be afraid to bring your boyfriend – there’s a men’s section as well!
