The other night while we were working at our computer, we kept noticing this vibrant mash of colors out of the corner of our left eye.  Upon closer examination we realized we had left our February Vogue open on a one-page Versace ad starring Georgia May Jagger.  While we noticed the white fur rug, graphic print minidress and seductive glare, what really caught our eye was the supine position Georgia was in (lying passively on her back, with her face up).  Even though we didn’t really give it much thought, the New York Times certainly did.  What, models in seductive poses? How is that new?  While it certainly isn’t a new trend, what makes it interesting is that so many ad campaigns are using the pose this season.
