It is a bit of an understatement for us to say that Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2010 show was our favorite collection of the season. Fashionable housewife wares from the 1950s/1960s such as A-line skirts, bow tie pumps, structured satchels, and nipped in waists ruled the runway – what’s not to love? Well, the thousand dollar pricetags for one thing (their bow “Beauty Pumps” in ostrich leather retail for $2580). But instead of shedding tears over the vast gap between our salary and the cost of a piece of Vuitton, we’ve taken matters into our own hands and shopped around for fashions inspired by LV’s fall collection. From elbow length leather gloves for under $100 to creamy A-line skirts that cost less than $50, we’ve recreated Louis Vuitton’s lovely ladylike look for less. Click through to find out where to buy.
