Top 10 Graphic Print Skirts for Spring 2010

As soon as the mercury surpasses 20 degrees Celsius on our exterior thermometer, all we can think about is ditching our black tights/knee high boot combination and showing off our bare (although blindingly white) legs.  But since we still have a few degrees to go until we reach 20, we’re preplanning how to disguise the paleness of our legs when the day finally arrives.  Our answer: graphic print skirts in vibrant shades inspired by Balenciaga’s Spring 2010 collection.  We figure in a skirt this wild, no one will even be looking at our legs.  But just in case, we’ll be sure to stock up on self-tanner.  Click through to find out our top 10 picks for graphic print skirts for the spring…

1) Abstract color contrast skirt – $19.80 Forever 21
We’re huge fans of this pleated abstract skirt from Forever 21 because it’s under $20 and its A-line cut will really flatter our figure.
2) Tie dye tulip skirt – $51.28 ASOS
We’ve been calling this skirt the “watermelon” skirt ever since we saw it at ASOS.  We plan to pair it with something black or white on top and let the skirt speak for itself.
3) Printed tulip skirt – $47.86 Vero Moda at ASOS
There are some skirts that we just know will look sick with a hot denim biker jacket or cut off denim vest – this pale pink skirt from Vero Moda at ASOS is one of those skirts.

4) Tiered mini skirt – $68 Armani Exchange
While normally we would avoid a skirt that incorporates bright colors, a bold pattern and three tiers of ruffles, but this one from Armani Exchange is too cute to resist!

5) Printed skater skirt – $68 Hinge at Nordstrom
At first the length of this skater skirt by Hinge had us scratching our heads.  It looked like it would fall down to our knees!  But once we realized how great it would look worn high waisted we couldn’t wait to get our hands on it.
6) Painted stripe skirt – $65 Topshop
There’s something so appealing about the brushstroke stripes on this Topshop skirt.  They are softer and less harsh than traditional stripes and they will look a hell of a lot better around our hips.

7) Graphic floral print skirt – $45 Miss Selfridge
We plan to prep up this floral print skirt with a pair of black Bass penny loafers and a boyfriend blazer because sometimes a girl just needs to feel the prep!

8) Printed silk miniskirt – $225 Twenty8Twelve at Shopbop
The Miller girls got it right with this printed miniskirt made out of 100% silk.  We would wear it exactly like Sienna did – with an oversized grey terry cotton tee that falls slightly off the shoulder.
9) Drape front mini skirt – $49 Armani Exchange
Is it just us or does this skirt remind anyone of Alexander McQueen’s Spring 2010 collection? We think the resemblance is quite uncanny!

10) Tulip print skirt – $60 Oasis
Sometimes graphic prints can be sweet, like this watercolor tulip skirt from Oasis.  We think every girl can find a home in their wardrobe for this one, especially when wore with a menswear white shirt tucked in with the sleeves rolled up.
