Ahoy, Matey!  Step aboard the S.S. Stylehog and hit the high seas in fashions inspired by the 2010 resort collections of Chanel and Louis Vuitton.   Even though we may not actually have the boat to accompany our travels, at least we can pack a suitcase crammed with vacay-ready nauticals at prices that even the most discerning traveler can afford…

While it may not be a real Chanel, it’s the closest thing we’re going to get for under $1000. This red, white and blue tweed Kate Spade purse with a gold chain is the ultimate daytime purse – both on and off the boat.

2) Nautical Bikini – $77 Billabong at Delia’s
We’ve never been fans of the loud vibrant bikini.  That’s why this simple halter bikini with gold piping is our pick for the upcoming swim season.

3) Gold Hardware – $98 Kate Spade at Nordstrom
We’re stacking up on bangles this spring, especially those with a nautical theme.  Add a couple of navy or gold bangles to this striped version by Kate Spade and you’ll be hitting the high seas in no time.

4) Striped Cardigan – $170 T-Bags at Net-a-Porter
We’re trading in our black and white stripes for some blue and white stripes courtesy of T-Bags.  Worn over a flirty summer dress or with a pair of white skinnies, this cardigan will be our best friend this season.

5) Rope Details – $80 Harajuku Lovers at Zappos
Men have been having all the fun with their Topsiders and deck shoes.  Thanks to Harajuku Lovers we too can indulge in some boating footwear, complete with 4″ heel.

6) Buried Treasure – $14.99 Five Oceans at Modcloth
And to top off our nautical theme, we’re adding some bling in the style of this boat pendant by Five Oceans.  Worn on its own or layered high with gold chains, we’re planning to keep this pendant in heavy rotation.
